Scripture
•…the spirit came to rest on them (Numbers 11:27)
•Would that all the people of the LORD were prophets! (Numbers 11:29)
…giving wisdom to the simple. (Psalm 19:8) •…he offers you no resistance. (James 5:6)
•…you belong to Christ, (Mark 9:41)

Reflection
•What does God want for you?
•What do you want for God?

One cannot redeem oneself, pay to God a ransom. (Psalm 49:8)

If you call on God let it not be to ask for anything. For when you call upon God for aid the call you make is for him to come into yourself. What place is there into which the Lord and God can come, what place fit for the God who made heaven and earth? Is it a small thing that God himself should fill you? If he comes without silver and gold, do you not want him? Which of the things he has made can satisfy you, if God himself does not? (St. Augustine)
