'A Lot to Admire'
Think about this; the youngest Pope, who devoted his life to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Very forgiving even to the people who tried to kill him. With no fear he speaks the truth in his heart. His life is amazing Reconciliation and thirst for peace in the world as his goals. He dies on the vigil of the Divine mercy. there is a lot to admire from him.

Sent by God
Pope John Paul inspires me because of his extraordinary courage under fire when he continued Christian teaching and printing during the Nazi invasion when they were killing priests and leaving them in the streets as examples. His stubborn refusal to let his illness stop him from travelling the world was amazing to behold. He is responsible for my wife and I returning to the Catholic Church after many years away. He was a rock with a solid foundation. I knew he was truly a man sent by God to lead the Church. I think about him every day and read his writings often. I miss him like a good friend. He is a jewel in the crown of the Church.

Love and Understanding
I cannot begin to say how John Paul has affected me. His overwhelming love and spirit reached the whole world. By far the greatest pope in Modern history. The life he endured, the sacrifices he made. John Paul inspires purity of heart, solidarity believing in peace and love no matter how hard. I am not catholic. My faith would be called protestant I suppose. I have a strong conviction for all religions based on compassion. These are the traits I recognized in John Paul. He loved us all so much. He loved me and he didn't even know me. This world was so blessed to have such a powerful thinker and diplomat traveling the world not spreading just the christian faith but faith ultimately as love and understanding. Not all saints are immune to failure, and no pope is perfect. But I know John Paul in some way is divine. He will remain a major inspiration to me as along as I live.

I thank you John Paul for touching my life.
