Blessing takes place on the church lawn so bring your pets no matter what they are: dogs, cats, pigs, birds, horses, cows, snakes or lizards! Each pet will receive a special blessing and a medal to put on its collar or cage. The service is open to people of all faiths. Unconditional love for your pet is all that is required. If weather is inclement, the blessing will be held in the parish hall. Please bring a donation of an item such as paper towels, cat litter, bleach, Mr. Clean, Windex refills, 33-gallon trash bags, tall kitchen trash bags, Dawn dish soap, dry bags of dog and cat food, for the Muscatine Humane Society.
