Join us for the free, fun-filled, family-friendly annual Fall Festival from 10am-2pm. Animals of all shapes and sizes are invited to come to be blessed, petted, and loved! This event commemorates St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals and the environment, and coincides with World Animal Day. It's a wonderful way to remember our connection with nature and give thanks for the animals that enrich our lives. All furry, feathery, leathery, slimy, or stuffed animals are encouraged to attend the blessing service. Animals should be properly restrained on leashes or in boxes. Recently departed pets and pets in absentia also can be blessed using pictures. The festival includes raffles and prizes, barbeque and bake sale, flea market, a bounce house, face painting, and more. Urban Pet Supply, the Brake Pad, Noodle, the Alliance Theatre, the Center for Puppetry Arts, and Movies ATL have generously donated the raffle prizes. Make sure to visit the flea market to find untold treasures for early shopping opportunities. Delicious barbecue, bake sale goodies, and Bishop's Blend coffees--dark roasted, organic, shade-grown, and certified Fair Trade also will be available for sale.
