Books, Audiocassettes and Videos All requests to use material from or to duplicate books, audiocassettes and videos must be submitted in writing. Please include in your request the full title, name of author (if applicable), copyright year, intended use, the number of copies you wish to make and the exact material you wish to use. Internet We do not generally grant permission to use our material on another
Web site. But we encourage linking, provide attractive buttons,

Catholic Update, Youth Update, Scripture From Scratch, Millennium Monthly, Every Day Catholic Issues in print We allow requesters to reprint up to one column’s worth of material without charge, with the credit line: Out-of-print issues We grant permission for this free of charge provided it is for limited, nonprofit, educational or pastoral use, with the following credit line: St. Anthony Messenger Articles We can only grant permission for those articles to which we hold the rights. Fees may apply, and a credit line will be required. If we do not hold the rights, requesters will be referred to the article’s author to request permission from and negotiate fees, if any, directly with the author. Special cases DeSales Program We receive many requests to reprint material from the DeSales program. Requesters must contact The Diocese of Baker (Box 5909, Bend, OR 97708) for permission. Prayer of St. Francis Song We often get requests to reprint the lyrics and music to “Prayer of St. Francis” by Sebastian Temple. Requesters must contact Oregon Catholic Press (5536 NE Hassalo, Portland, OR 97213; 800-548-8749) for permission.
